Sean Ridley – Managing Director
Sean started ThemeWorld having just left school after falling in love with media when a new Media department opened at his school. Since then, he has worked very hard gaining qualifications in Film and TV Production while also studying various broadcast techniques while developing his own styles for different areas of production. He is our main video editor and lighting designer whilst also our Managing Director. Outside of ThemeWorld, Sean is an on-off YouTuber presenting the satirical Themepark’s Dungeon and established local actor. You can read more on his website at www.seanridley.co.uk. Phil D’Souza
Phil has always had a fondness for music, having played in the Hampshire Youth Band for several years, which has since developed into a fully fledged love for sound engineering. Having completed his A-Levels he is currently studying BMus Music Tech at Kingston University whilst still working as TW’s sound manager, a role he has been in for a few years now. His professional attitude and humor through working is second only to his experience and abilities. Phil has also worked on large scale theatre productions including ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast’ (New Theatre Royal) and smaller scale productions such as ‘We’ll Meet Again’ (Leicester Square Theatre). Russell Churcher
When ThemeWorld began, Russ was on hand to provide assistance and since then has become an established member of the team. He is the longest serving member, second only to Sean, and continues to enjoy every challenge faced. Originally, his work primarily stuck to sound and has worked as sound assistant on the award-winning production of ‘RENT’ (New Theatre Royal) as a sound assistant and main sound operator on the acclaimed production of ‘Anthony and Cleopatra’ (The Spring). He has also branched out into lighting, designing and operating for ‘Romeo and Juliet’ (The Groundlings Theatre) and lighting operator for the critically acclaimed production of OUR HOUSE: The Madness Musical’ (New Theatre Royal) and ‘Elton John and Tim Rice’s AIDA’ (St Peter’s Theatre). 


Tom Wright

Tom first started working with ThemeWorld after Sean convinced him to run as a follow spot operator on Disney’s Beauty and The Beast (New Theatre Royal), since then he has re-armed his lighting cannon in productions including ‘OUR HOUSE: The Madness Musical’ (New Theatre Royal) and the original stage production of ‘Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of The War of The Worlds’ (The Kings Theatre). He has also become an integral part of the production team, having co-written and produced ‘The Studio’ (2011, ThemeWorld Productions). He also gained the highest grade in his diploma for Film and TV at Triple Distinction, which is only the surface of Tom’s abilities. James Hobson
James first began work with ThemeWorld on the ThemeWorld film ’50′ which turned into working as the microphone operator on ‘OUR HOUSE: The Madness Musical’ and lighting operator for ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ (New Theatre Royal) and later producing his acclaimed dark satire film ‘Under The Rug’ (2011, ThemeWorld Productions). He is currently at Southampton Solent University studying Media Culture and Production and has also worked on several events with Portsmouth Live TV. Ben Gratton
As a YouTuber, Ben has always had fun creating new and exciting things. He has worked with TW on short films including ’50′, at major events, as a camera operator for the ‘Portsmouth Schools’ Glee Competition 2011′ (Portsmouth Guildhall) and photography for ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’ (New Theatre Royal) and ‘The King and I’ (Ferneham Hall). He excels in graphics design and CGI on top of his fantastic skills in camera operation and video editing. Ben, along with James, is the newest member of the team but already has made an impact with all of the aforementioned events. He has a firm love of creating his own short films and won the Single Camera Drama award at South Downs College for his 2010 film ‘At Death’s Doorstep’ (2010, Shard Pictures).
